Wyn The male had found himself next to the lake this afternoon. It was a pleasant day, and he was dipping his paws in the water gently. He wasn’t exactly easily concealed here, in fact, he stuck out like a sore thumb. There was no hiding his white pelt against the green grass. Wyn hummed quietly to himself, finding himself in a particularly happy mood. He had snagged a nice meal the prior night, and his belly was still somewhat full. The male flicked out his white mane.
It would be nice if he had some company to enjoy this weather with. But he wasn’t sure many of the lions around here would like his personality. He was afraid they’d find him too ‘soft.’ While that was true, it didn’t exactly make him the most like able to some. A lot of male lions were extremely tough and masculine, while he was more a lover then a fighter. That thought pulled him to a state of daydreaming, pink eyes staring into the distance, across the lake, as he was not really paying attention to what was happening.

it had been drizzling for so long that yindra almost missed it when the skies gave way to sunshine. she hailed from lands where the days were shorter and much of their time was spent in dark caverns, so a bright blue sky was almost painful to endure when it came time to do so. she had squinted, groused and grumbled, but eventually the day couldn't be ignored—she was wasting daylight, and while she didn't really need it, there was something to be said for the satisfaction that came with exercising in the heat of the day. and exercise is what was in her cards for the day; she'd eaten well yesterday so saw no point in going hunting again, but she'd need to hydrate before heading back to the mountains to test her mettle. the lake is convenient. it's big, easy to find, and full of freshwater, so yindra's stopped by more than a few times during her still-early explorations. there were probably better spots around, but new as she was this is the one she'd become quickly comfortable with. approaching the shore, tongue already half-extended toward the water, the burly lioness noticed a flash of white that couldn't be reconciled with the clear day. brows drew together subtly, a bemused expression creasing the corners of her lips and her tongue withdrew, leaving the lake still and untouched. squinting against the bright sun, it didn't take long for the czech woman to determine that the glitch in her vision was (in fact) another lion. an elated grin dragged across silvery lips, peach eyes brightening as she stepped away from the water and closer to the bleached male. “ well hello, " she breathes, eyes trailing across him in search of anywhere that wasn't so alarmingly bereft, “ i'm intrigued, but you can just call me yindra. " it's so blatantly rude, and so awfully accompanied by a dad joke—and it's so very her. tragic, really. @ Wyn
