Xarera | A new month brought about new changes in the atmosphere, and eventually, new seasons. The winter weather was on its last legs, seeing as February decided to show her face. January had made her debut on the runway and left, now it was her best friend’s turn. Good ol’ Father Time and Mother Nature oversaw all of it, and who better to take advantage of the weather warming up than Xarera. She was never fond of the colder temperatures, and took delight whenever the slightest hint of warmth appeared. That was how she ended up in the mountains after visiting the Redwood forest. Mountains seemed like the last place that someone dreading the cold wanted to be, however the falls were worth seeing year around. This was the first time that the lady was there, but it certainly was not going to be the last. It was merely the start. The vandal gal padded into the territory in her usual tip-toe-yet-not way of walking until she reached the eastside. Her mismatched eyes glazed over the falls, taking in every nook and cranny available to her. In her opinion it was a lovely sight, even without the rushing waters that this particular place was known for. The slow trickle of water slithering through was enough to breathe life into a seemingly otherwise lifeless place. It was like blood running through rocky veins circulating to the heart of the lands, and would only increase over time. It was a slow buildup of course, one that would occur over many months. But, as aforementioned, the changes over those many months had a particular draw to them, especially to one that roamed alone as Era had. Rogues had an appreciation for the littlest of things, the littlest signs of beauty that the world offered. Clambering on the lowest rocks, Xarera wanted to test the gravity of the territory. Whether that was in a literal of figurative sense of the word “gravity” well, that was up for someone else to decide. She was going to do it anyways. The longer that time went on, the higher up that she got, and the more precarious the situation. Thankfully she was a nimble creature, bestowed with agile movements and feminine grace. Going from rock to rock was an athletic feat, one that the woman welcomed with unsheathed claws. The goal in mind was to just play on the rocks, acutely slippery as they might be, just for the bloody heck of it. Amusement was the goal, and to reach the top was the destination. Xarera did not heed the popular lyrics saying not to chase waterfalls, that was much to docile for her in that particular moment. Actions "Speech" 'Thoughts' |
