Boons & Debuffs.
Through gameplay, there are random chances for your character to receive boons or debuffs through their actions. Any thread may fall victim to a random dice roll, where a staff member pops in and will alert you that your character is now under the effect of a random buff or debuff! Similiar to inspiration in D&D, acting in ways that please gods will reward your character with random boons and acting in ways that displease them with random debuffs.
Certain pride activities and statues can trigger boons and debuffs too. Having over three prisoners in a pride at a time will trigger a pride-wide boon, whilst failing activity checks or a random event may cause the gods to inflict a debuff.
Stay aware of what's happening on site and these mysterious things will reveal themselves!
