On Solui, we have quite a few different species of lion to roleplay as. Most of these are restricted behind the RNG systems of generated characters, so it's encouraged you use that system if you're seeking unusual traits! Here is a general run-down on the characteristics of our lion species.

Marking: Eye Circles Description: Dark or light circles that encompass the whole eye, to the brow. |
Marking: Brow Dots Description: Two large dark or light dots on the brow above the eyes. |
Marking: Mask Description: Dark or light mask that covers the cheeks and between the eyes. (Mask)

Marking: Half-Mask Description: Dark or light mask that covers the lower half of the cheek and halfway up the nose bridge. |
Marking: Socks Description: Dark or light gradient/hard-edge marks that go no further than mid-leg. (Socks)

Marking: Stockings Description: Dark or light gradient or hard-edge marks that go to the very top of the leg. |
Marking: Dark Paws Description: Dark toes, no further than the ankle. |
Marking: Dark Ears Description: Entirety or backs of the ear a darker colour. |
Marking: Light Ears Description: Entirety or backs of the ear a lighter colour. |
Marking: Nose Blaze Description: Light or dark mark on the nose bridge, no further than between the eyes. |
Marking: Chin Description: Light or dark mark covering the chin. (Chin)

Marking: Leg Stripes Description: Any form of striping on the legs. |

Marking: Body Stripes Description: Any form of striping on the main body. |
Marking: Body Spots Description: Any form of spotting (leopard or freckling) on the body. |

Marking: Dark Belly Description: Belly is a darker tone than the main pelt. |
